Housekeeping fees?

We are renting some points from friends for a OKW studio in March. Can anyone tell me what the fee is if we decide we want housekeeping? TIA

Housekeeping costs are as follows the last I saw them:

Studio: $25.00 per day
1 BR: $30.00 per day
2 BR: $40.00 per day
Grand Villa: $60.00 per day
Trash/Towel only: $10.00 per day no matter what size unit you are in.

Thanks HBC!!! I think we will get the towel/trash for $10. Our friends are letting us have the studio for ONLY $60 per night so for $70 a night it is worth it. We cant even get a value for that.

Are you familiar with T&T? It does not include making the bed. T&T consists of:

Empty the trash & put in new liners
Fresh bathroom linens
Replace facial tissue, paper towels & toilet paper (as needed) -- This is something you can always request if you run low.
Replenish coffee, sugar, cream & sweeteners
Replenish dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent sponges (no laundry in a studio). These items can also be requested if you run low.

For $6, you can get a complete set of new towels for the unit.

Also, do I need to request this before we go, or do I request it when we arrive?

Request it when you check in and make sure they don't charge you for your regular trash and towel day on day 4.

Thanks for the info Pam. I don't worry if my bed is made or not...it's vacation However, we will be eating in the room quite a bit so I don't mind paying a little more to have the trash taken out and things replenished. That way I don't have to keep requesting them.

If you wanted to upgrade the scheduled the T&T service to a full housekeeping would you pay the full amount or the difference?

We are taking my parent in OCt 2004 and we are getting a 2bdr lock-off. They want housekeeping we don't. Can they get it for the studio section only, because it is a lock-off or will be have to pay for the full cleaning?

I thought because they have their own entrance they should be able to do it.

Judy, my guess is that you will have to get housekeeping for the entire 2 bedroom unit. However, this is one of those grey areas that only a call directly to DVC will get a definite answer.

YOU CAN REQUEST WHAT EVER YOU WANT. IF YOU ONLY WANT THE STUDIO PART CLEANED,THEY WILL DO ONLY THAT FOR YOU. IF YOU WANT THEM BOTH CLEANED NO PROBLEM. I DO IT EVERY YEAR. WHEN THEY LIST T&T,I ADVISE THEM I WOULD LIKE A FULL CLEANING. YOU DO IT ON CHECK IN. TELL THEM WHAT YOU WANT WHEN AND THEY WILL ADD IT TO YOUR BILL.IF IT GETS SCREWED UP AND IT'S NOT DONE,JUST CALL AND THEY WILL SEND A HOUSEKEEPER OUT TO DO IT RIGHT THEN.

That's good to know! I wondered about that too, since sometimes our guests prefer to be more seperate from us.

Thanks for the answer. My father is fanatical about having his bed changed daily on vacation, but we don't mind washing it ourselves if we are not there 8 days. I did not want to pay 60 for cleaning the $20 is much better
