Housekeeping at BWV

Can some tell me about this? If they only provide trash and towels at the first and 4th days, what do you do with your trash? Are there dumpsters? How much is a housekeeping service? Any tips would be great

There is a trash chute/closet at the end of the LOOOOONG hallway.

If your stay is less than 8 days-housekeeping will take the trash and change out the towels on day 4.

If your stay is 8 days or more--Housekeeping will do a full cleaning -like before you moved in--on day 4 and do the trash and towel change on day 8...and then full on day 12, trash/towel day 16, etc...

I think daily service is $25 a day. We use DDP and seldom cook except some breakfast so we never fill trash cans anyway, especially dont have any smelly foods and we are way past diapers so it works great for us.

There are little rooms at various locations on each floor that has a big garbage can and a big recycle bin.

OK, that makes sense. It is a 2-bedroom villa

I know there is a trash room about 1/2 way down the hall on the standard view side, where the hall splits between the pools.

Well, not to be snippy or anything, but you stated

If your stay is 8 days or more--Housekeeping will do a full cleaning

You have to stay 9 days or more to get the full cleaning on day 4. With an 8 night stay, you have 9 days. In your case, you probably also meant 8 days including arrival day and not including checkout day. That's why all the signs in the villas state 8 nights or more and 7 nights or less and not days (instead of nights).

Just like the Disney Dining Plan is tied to the number of nights you stay and not the number of days.

When we stayed both at WL and BC I saw a maid in the hall and she took my trash with a smile ! I don't want to get anyone in trouble but she GAVE me extra coffe packs.
