House warming gift ideas?

If this is a new home for the both of them (meaning they have never owned a home before) then I would suggest outdoor trashcans, hose, a little tool kit or a gift card to Home Depot or Lowes.

My cousin and her family just moved into their new house, and I had gotten them a toaster oven. You can toast, refrost, and cook things in it.

Ya know my favorite gift for a new house/first time home owners is the home bible. You know the one........the how do I fix everything in the house books.

ooooo - VERY good idea! Those come in VERY handy! (and it's always the little things you forget when moving from an apartment to a home)

Someone gave us the Home Depot 1-2-3 book...big orange 'bible' of fixing basically ANYTHING in the house...DH is pretty handy, but this is still a good resource to have!

Hand soap, lotion and wallflower for her bathroom.
Hand soap and wallflower for her kitchen.
A candle for her livingroom and maybe one for her bedroom.
