72 during the day. 65 at night.
Does anyone know why at 72 degrees in the summer, it's warm enough for shorts. But 72 degrees in the winter is cold enough to wear a sweater.Just one of those things that make me go hmm..
Oh my gosh...my feet would fall off in some of your houses! Ours cannot go below 72 both up and downstairs. Apparently my blood doesn't like to flow through my feet so they become like ICE. And since I am home all day, the heat stays up. At night we drop it down to 67 but I have literally 3 layers of socks and piles of balnkets...not to mention DH to keep me warm.![]()

Mine is at 69 during the day.. 63 at night
Don't be so quick to blame yourself. I seriously think a lot of it has to do with how well insulated your house is.
I used to live in a very well built, all brick townhome. I could keep my heat about about 70-72 and I was VERY comfy. In my current home (which is all siding and crummy windows), I've got the thermostat reading 73-74 degrees and I'm dying. My kids are also freezing. My nieghbor has the same home as I do and SHE is freezing. I know my thermostat says 73 but I can assure you that it FEELS much colder than that.
