In my never-ending quest of "new things to do in Disney World" I came upon the Sunday morning gospel brunch at House of Blues... any reviews, opinions, pictures??

Marina-
I was on www.allears.net and saw a couple of reviews about the Gospel Brunch. The reviews are located under the review section but under the Dinner show area. I hope this help!

My husband and I attended one a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. The food was tasty and plentiful and the gospel performance was high-energy. The place was sold out and everyone there seemed to be having a good time. I'd definitely recommend trying it if you're interested.

We have been 4 times and loved it each time. Food is great and little different from the average Disney buffet offerings. A lot to choose from. We have always enjoyed the Gospel groups as well. Be prepared that depending on your party size you may be sat with another family at a round table. This has never been a problem for us even when DD and DS get up and dance :cool1:!!!

I took my parents and kids 2 years ago and we loved it. The food is wonderful and there is plenty. We were lucky enough to have a front table by the stage was a bit loud at times however it was a lot of fun. My youngst has been bugging me to go back, we just don't have the time this year around our dining we already have booked, so maybe we will try the one in DL in November instead this year!

to the gospel brunch in Orlando and Myrtle Beach. Enjoyed both but the Orlando one was the better of the two.

Thanks for the reviews I think we're going to be giving this a try!

We are going to the Gospel Brunch this June when we are at WDW. How do people usually dress for this? Is it casual or a bit more dressy?
Thanks
Kristi

We dressed in shorts, we wore our nicer outfits, but people were dressed up and dressed down, we saw a bit of everything.

Sorry to hijack the thread with a question for Hooch, we will be in Orlando and Myrtle Beach during June and I was considering the Myrtle Beach HOB Gospel Brunch as it's half the price of Orlando's. What would you say the main differences are between the 2? Any help to decide between them would be appreciated:)

selection was more extensive and better in Orlando versus Myrtle Beach. That and that the Orlando location is at Disney probably accounts for the price difference. The entertainment at both was lively and interesting.

this sounds like something we would enjoy... and since we'll be at POR, it's just a boatride away...

is HOB Gospel brunch on the Disney dining plan?

The gospel brunch is not included on the dining plan (actually I don't think HoB accepts the plan at all but I could be wrong about that). However, if you are a AAA member or a DVC member you can get a 10% discount on the price of admission.
