Can you take cameras in House of Blues for concerts?

If not, can you at least take your bag in, say, if Im coming directly from the parks?

Im going to see Lifehouse in March.

We have only ever been to a concert at HoB at WDW, but I'm guessing they're rules are the same at all locations. We were ID'd (which was fun for DH and I as we're both in our 30's  ), they asked if we had any cameras (but did allow us in with mobile phones that included cameras). Lastly, we had to walk through one of the metal detector gates like the ones in airports before we could enter the concert hall.

Funnily enough, DMum and DDad didn't have the same experience when they went to the Gospel Brunch at the same location! :rolleyes1

All joking aside, it was good to know they were doing everything in their power to ensure your safety once inside their premises. ;)

I can only speak for HOB Orlando too we were NOT allowed to take in any cameras for the concert we went to in Sept. they searched all bags. They did not check for anything for the Gospel brunch we went to later in the week as the poster above mentioned.

If you a female, sneak the camera in your bra between your ladies... if there are enough there. That is how I always manage to bring a camera into a show for photos afterwards :)

Since it is private property, If caught you lose the camera/cam phone if caught.
Should be a great concert.

In Orlando they also scanned the detectors over us to make sure we weren't hiding anything. They were taking all cameras from people that had them and were trying to hide them in purses, bags and pockets, unless you left to put it some where.

This can be true too. They can also take the camera if you use it during the show. I always bring it because I like to meet the bands afterwards and get photos with them.

But I also always just bring a disposable camera- don't want to risk losing your actual one!
