I'm just in the planning stages of where to stay in April. We usually stay on property, but have another family who would like to go with us too - so we are looking into a home. There will be 9 of us....any info would be great.

The closest gated villa rental resort communities to Disney are in the Formosa Gardens area - Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms & Emerald Island.

we also stayed in Indian Creek for a week this past summer...very easy to get to, close to shopping, restaurants, parks. There were 12 of us. The house might be bigger than what you are looking for, but it was great and the owners were easy to deal with. The kids loved the pool and the game room.

We've rented through All Star Vacation Homes twice and couldn't have had a better experience either time :goodvibes. They are a little more expensive than other management companies or going through a private owner, but after the great experiences we had with them, we won't book through anyone else for house rentals. The pictures of the houses online represent the houses perfectly and check in/check out could not have gone any smoother :thumbsup2. Communication regarding any of the homes, payment, etc. was great as the staff was very attentive and answered any and all questions we had and everyone was very professional. We stayed in Acadia Estates both times and were very conveniently located to all of the parks as well as to other areas of Orlando ;).

We rented a 4 Bdr pool home in march for 10 people, Loved the house and location, close to shopping, dining and the parks, reasonable rate for spring break. It was in Indian Creek easy to get to everything, we used the Sherberth road shortcut to get to the parks everyday. Got the home from Lowery's vacation homes, the website is moremouse.com, the house we got was 8100 Santee, very nice people to work with, I had never rented a vacation home before and was Very nervous, they were willing to answer all my questions and so helpful.

I don't have a specific house recommendation, but I do have some advice. I highly suggest that you find a house where every adult couple can have their own bathroom. We travel with multiple couples and that is very helpful. I also think it is wise to have actual beds for all members of your party and not rely on a pull out couch in the middle of the common living room so that everyone has their own space to unwind and get away from the crowd. Other than that, start thinking of amenities that you really want to have and that helps to narrow things down. For us, we want TVs in all bedrooms and a pool and a spa.

thanks for the info!
we don't care for any amenties, Disney is our entertainment
All we need is a clean cheap bed - LOL

We've rented a few times through Frontline Florida and have always had a great experience.
