I am trying to work out a tentative schedule (which park which day) so I can figure out what PS I need. Anyone know when the February hours will be out? Any experienced guesses to what the hours might be? We don't usually break our necks to make Early Entry, but if Regular entry is later...we might.

Thanks :D

Hi!

I am going Feb 4-8th. When we went in Feb, 2002 the park hours were typical of off season, MK (9-6 or 7 with Spectro & Fireworks on Wed/Sat only), AK (9-5), Epcot (9-9), and MGM (9-8ish or so with only one Fantasmic per night).

Early entry is nice and it gives you an extra hour in the parks. What we did was stay at the parks as long as we could (since it really isn't hot enough to deserve a pool break, lol) then hit up Downtown Disney or Epcot for the later nights.

One nice thing about the shorter hours is that IF you have small kids, they are actually awake for the parade/fireworks vs. being asleep by 10pm. If you don't have any kids, then PI is open every night until the wee hours of the morning!

Hope that helps! As far as PSs go, first you need to decide on which park each day (re: early entry) then make them from there. What I like to do is on our AK day, make a PS for Boma or Jiko at AKL (short bus ride from AK) around 5ish, then head over to Epcot after dinner (using bus from AKL). Makes for a well-rounded, long day!

Take care and have fun planning!

Thanks zakatak!

That does help. I was already 'penciling' with the early December hours figuring it might be similar. That is when we have gone before.

The abbreviated hours are fine with us. Because the crowds are manageable (actually we didn't really have any crowds both our December trips except Saturdays...and that wasn't terrible ;) ) we can easily do all we want to in a day.

You are so right about the fireworks (although we haven't been there for 'late' fireworks). My boys are 7 and 9, but still after a full day of Disney Fun...they are going to be ready to sack out...especially if we want to try EE.

As I have said so many times...these boards are GREAT. They make my planning so much easier and I get to 'meet' so many nice folks :grouphug:

I can not wait. Go...countdown timer...Go! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

If your main concern is detemining the parks' opening times, then I don't think you need to worry. They always open at the same time--it's the closing times that will vary.

MK, AK, MGM and Epcot Future World all open at 9am. The Early Entry park will open at 8am.

Epcot World Showcase does not open until 11am.
