Hours changed again!

In a couple weeks WDw changed their park hours again! AK is now changed back to closing at 6.
MGm is open until 10 on Tuesday's early enrety day.
And fireworks have been added to the entire week at MK, 5 of the days now have longer hours, including an 11 closing on Monday night.

Good news!!!

Chances are there will be a change that will be announced evern after the brochures/park guide times are printed up so keep your mickey ears on!

Do you mean that they may change the hours for September and add fireworks on Thursday night as well? We are planning on going for a day after our first Disney Cruise and would love to see the parade and fireworks. Thanks!!

Thanks for the nice welcome. This is the first time I've been on this dis board. I'm usually on the cruise one. I've enjoyed reading this board. We are just trying to plan our vacation and would really like to visit MK and Downtown Disney before we come back home. We are thinking about staying at the Grosvenor hotel. Do you know anything about this hotel? It has a very reasonable price so that's why we are considering it. Thanks again!! Joy

I don't know much about the Grovesnor, but I'm sure you will find lots of info on the resort board. The Downtown Disney area resorts are a really great value--great price, great location, and you get all of the Disney perks! Sorry I couldn't be more helpful on this, but as I mentioned, check out the resort board for info, or even post a thread there asking for info

When and where do you get the most updated park and show times? How far in advance do they set it in stone? Do you find out when you check in at your resort?

BarbaraMB, the nearest to final say will be the Park Guide/Hours booklet that is printed every 10 days or so if I recall correctly. But even that can change during your stay.

During our March and May stays there was at least 1 EE/EMH change of park and the hours were changed as well - all this after the guides went to press

We just got back from a week's stay. The park hours seemed to be changing every day. They were good changes. AK was open until 8:30 PM the day we were there. We were so surprised and didn't find out about the late night until we were on the tram from the parking lot. It looks like it's going to be a good summer for WDW!

I do hope the hours are extended when I'm there in August. Right now, the old hours are still posted on the Official WDW Site.

I guess I'll just take it day by day!
