Has anyone booked the Hyatt Regency MCO using Hotwire's "Hot Rate" feature? I found a 4 star, 95% customer recommended hotel with these ammenities:
Fitness Center
Pool(s)
Restaurant(s)
Business Center
High-Speed Internet Access

How likely is this hotel the Hyatt Regency MCO? I'm scared to pull the trigger but I would love the great deal! :scared:

Thanks!!

unless something has changed since I tried this and followed many a thread on this topic: it is unlikely that it is MCO.

I've been able to book through last minute travel. If you join the club (I used google for a promo code to join for free), you can see the names of the hotels you are booking. I've paid $108/night plus tax by booking this way.

So with Hotwire they only have two 4 star properties in the MCO area, so you're either at the Hyatt or the Renissance just outside of the airport. Both have the exact same feature list so you're 50/50 on which one you land, but based on my last stay at MCO they do seem to fill up and I would think especially the night before a cruise departs. Good luck if you try it post which one you got

Thank you guys for the head's up regarding the 2 4-star hotels in the airport area. I'd much rather stay at the Hyatt Regency MCO so I'm going to go with the last minute travel route for now.

I signed up for the lastminutetravel.com club for free using the promo code from retailmenot.com. My reservation is on request for the Hyatt Regency MCO, meaning they are contacting the hotel to see if they will accept my request for the $128 rate which includes taxes and fees. This is better than the $140 rate I was looking at on hotwire. I should hear within 48 hours if my reservation request has been accepted or not.

I appreciate your help!! :disrocks:

If you don't mind me asking, is the rate quoted ($128) for room only or does it comes with breakfast for two?

Did you book online or call them (Last Minute Travel Club)? I've always booked online and have never been told I had to wait 48 hours to see if the Hyatt accepted my "reservation". I can say that you do need to print out the actual email that has your reservation number on it, which can take up to 48 hours. I get the confirmation email pretty quickly but for whatever reason the one with the reservation number never comes through so I have to call them for it and they resend while I'm on the phone. You'll need to give this (a copy with the reservation #) to the Hyatt when you check in.

I've used them twice now and so far haven't had any issues.

I just got an email confirmation from Last Minute Travel that my reservation status is confirmed! Score! $128.36 Total!

I recently used MAYNOJ to join. Try that.

I just used that code too. It appears that when you google "last minute travel club", the first link is a google ad to participate in a short LMTC survey to get free membership. Once you complete the survey, the website will prompt you to register and automatically enter the MAYNOJ code for you to get free membership. It says the survey deal is valid for the next 2 days.

We are traveling to Alaska next summer on the Wonder and we would love to stay at the PanPacific Hotel if we could get a cheaper price on it.
Thank you!!

Barbara ~ we used LMTC for our Pan Pacific reservation this June because we were t going to stay anywhere else. I saved about $100 total using them because as you know it's pricey, but I was pleased to save anything! :thumbsup2

I'm confused. Do you make an offer on what you're willing to pay? I signed up, but didn't see the Hyatt listed as an option. Any advice is greatly appreciated. TIA!

I've used the last minute club for the Hyatt MCO and a great hotel in Boston for the night. No problems at all!

I used the code: CLUBDBZ

Once you are logged into the club, I typed in my destination of Orlando, my dates and number of people who will be in my room. I pressed advanced options and it let me type in the hotel name, Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport.

That hotel shows up as a standard room "on request" for $109.92 and I pressed book it. Then I typed in my traveler info and pressed continue.

This message appeared:

"Request: Your reservation is pending confirmation.
The requested reservation can not be confirmed at this time.
Due to the great savings associated with this deal, our allotment of rooms at this hotel have been sold out; however; we have a team of dedicated professionals negotiating with the hotel on your behalf to secure additional rooms out our great rate. Upon booking this reservation, you will receive a reservation number for status identification purposes only.
Within the next 48 business hours the hotel will reply with a definite confirmation or decline of this reservation.
During this process, your credit card will not be charged.

Once the request is confirmed by the hotel, you card will be charged and we will send you an email with notification of the confirmation. Should the request be declined by the hotel, you will receive an email with notification of the decline as well as available alternate hotels in the area.
Credit cards will only be charged upon receipt of confirmation from the hotel.

Please call us at 1-800-258-4230 to check the status of your reservation if you do not receive a response after 48 hours or if your requested check in is within 24 hours.
We will be happy to assist you with your reservation.

Please contact us prior to making alternate arrangements as open requests may confirm at any time up to the check in date."

Then I filled out my billing information and pressed continue. A few hours later I got the email stating my reservation is confirmed.

I hope this helps!

I've gotten the Hyatt MCO many times on HW.
To differentiate between Hyatt & Renaissance look at the green dots from TripAdvisor ratings. Hyatt is 4.5 dots out of 5 and Renaissance is only 4 dots.

Also Hyatt is recommended 95% and Renaissance is only 90%. Usually to "make" Hyatt appear, you need to enter 2 adults + 2 kids in your search. If you only search for 2 adults, it will show the Renaissance.

This method worked so well for me for many, many years. So well that for 2 large-group cruises in 2009 & 2010 I booked 6 rooms for around $59 + tax per room for our group.

At some point a couple years ago I gave up on HW because it went from $55-74 for Hyatt to around $180/nt. What's the point on using HW then? Might as well book directly with Hyatt using a stay certificate. A while back LMT stopped offering the Hyatt so I gave up on them too. It's nice to hear that you still can book Hyatt through them.

I joined Last Minute Travel Club using a similar code. I want to book the Hyatt MCO next March for one night. How late can I cancel to get a full refund?
