Hello!!

I have booked a hotel room through Hotwire for 2 people. It looks like a third might want to join us. I know that Hotwire doesn't allow changes, so what will happen if we "smuggle" in a third person into the room??? I don't want to get in trouble!

Any advice? TIA! :goodvibes

I did this; when i won the bid, i called the hotel and told them that a third person was coming and they said it would not be a problem. you could do that or just not let anyone know. ;)

I doubt the hotel would have any problems with it... Most don't. I've been in hotel rooms with 3+ people. And I don't think they blinked when we'd ask for more towels or the amount of stuff that housekeeping had to get around to clean the room....

I work in a hotel. We don't care at all. It doesn't make any difference to us, but note that some may mind for whatever reason.

I know our fire code is at 6 people max per room, and a lot of hotels in the area are like that, not sure if the one you booked at is or not, though.

You should be fine though:) It's normally not even looked at:)

If you're still worried though, you can always be on the safe side and call the hotel directly. They can make any necessary changes in seconds.
