Hotwire advice!

Hello!!

I have booked a hotel room through Hotwire for 2 people. It looks like a third might want to join us. I know that Hotwire doesn't allow changes, so what will happen if we "smuggle" in a third person into the room??? I don't want to get in trouble!

Any advice? TIA!

I did this; when i won the bid, i called the hotel and told them that a third person was coming and they said it would not be a problem. you could do that or just not let anyone know.

I doubt the hotel would have any problems with it... Most don't. I've been in hotel rooms with 3+ people. And I don't think they blinked when we'd ask for more towels or the amount of stuff that housekeeping had to get around to clean the room....

I work in a hotel. We don't care at all. It doesn't make any difference to us, but note that some may mind for whatever reason.

I know our fire code is at 6 people max per room, and a lot of hotels in the area are like that, not sure if the one you booked at is or not, though.

You should be fine though It's normally not even looked at

If you're still worried though, you can always be on the safe side and call the hotel directly. They can make any necessary changes in seconds.
