I am planning my Disneyland Wedding for next year and need some advice for off property hotels. I had a BM inquire if she can get a hotel room for less than $100 a night. After looking at my fav. good neighbor hotel and the HOJO everone talks about they are both over $150. Is there a nice good neighbor hotel for less than $100 a night? Any and all thoughts would be helpful!

Thanks for all your help!

Of course! This depends on the time of year though and exactly how "nice" you are looking for. Is walking distance important for you? I have found the Anabella for $79 multiple times (try cheaptickets.com or Orbitz). It is nice and you can walk from there and cut through the Grand Californian. I am not sure if it is a good neighbor hotel though. Did you check the Carousel Inn and Suites? They are nice, but weekends are usually over $100 during busier times.

I would also suggest Hotwire or Priceline- you can pick the stars and your price and end up with something really great like the Hyatt for well under $100- but there is no way to guarantee walking distance, you will probably have to drive or use a shuttle or ART.

I have heard good things about the Hotel Pepper Tree, and you can find good prices for them on some of the booking sites, but they are definitely not in walking distance, but a group of adults might like that place.

If she has the Entertainment Book for next year, she could get the ET Book rate if it is available at HOJOs for that time frame.

The Annabella is my favorite good neighbor hotel! I looked for April of this year and they were quoted at $160. I thought I remembered them being under $100 when I went because I could never have afforded almost $200 a night. I am looking for within walking distance or with great shuttles. Since people will be offered alcoholic beverages I want to ensure their safety. Okay, I feel a lot better now.

Since we live in AZ are the entertainment books sold her good for hotels in Cali? I'm not too familiar with the entertainment books other than the fact that they exist.

We are staying at the Ramada Maingate in June 7nights for $748.00 and this is including tax! We stayed there our last trip and it was plenty close enough to not have to use any shuttle to get back and forth to the parks. They have a nice pool too!

I've saw the ramada maingate at the good neighbors page on Disneylands website. Were the rooms nice? And was the service good?

Just wanted to thank everyone who is helping me out!

yes any ent book will work.

Any Ent Book will work, you just need the card when you check in. You just flash it and they are happy.
The Radisson MG is not maingate, your BM would have to take the shuttle to get to and from the parks. The rooms were nice, nothing fancy but we didn't mind it. If it was me I would chose a hotel much closer, I'd much rather walk than wait for ART.

I tried to see if I could find my usual Anabella deal for you, but it looks like your wedding is April 2009 based on your sig, and they won't let me look at the prices this far in advance, haha, but I totally understand you wanting to plan ahead! I think you will be able to find something. We just stayed at the Desert Inn and Suites last weekend (so it is a comparable weekend in April). We booked early and the Standard rooms were going for about $98 per night. It is not one of the nicest hotels, but it is clean and very close to the parks (you can check out my trip report in my sig for pictures if you want). We had the Suite which can fit up to 10 people and it is nice because you actually get two rooms, but you only pay the taxes and fees for one room so it makes it a little cheaper than getting two separate rooms. I think our suite was around $190 per night. This hotel is right across the street, but the Hojo is a little nicer and has a better pool area.

I hate that they won't let me look at any prices! :headache: Even with airlines I'm having trouble. Thanks again everyone for all your help!! I'm just not that familiar with off property hotels.
