Hotels near port with shuttles to port

Does anyone know a nice hotel with transportation to the port very close to the port. We are not going DCL but RCCL and we will arrive a day earlier than our cruise. I plan on using Tiffany town car to get to hotel. but may possible be renting a car. Any suggestions on nice hotels close to the port.

Yes, there is plenty of lodging and I think most provide shuttle service to the port.

www.cocoabeach.com is another good site to look at.
We normally stay at the Radisson and take the shuttle over the morning of the cruise. You can book your reservations by calling the resort and at that time you should be able to go ahead and book your shuttle time.

Don't worry if there is a shuttle included or not. Take a taxi!!! it is comparable to the shuttle price (remember, many have shuttle service AVAILABLE, but not included). Also, they will not pick up until 12.

With the way the on-line ressies have been filling up, you are going to want to get there early!!! I'm a CC member and can book 90 days out and it seems even these people are having trouble with being closed out of ressies. Can you imagine if you are a first time DCL cruiser and can book at only 75 days out!!!

Another good reason to take a taxi, it comes when you want and no one else will be with your group. You never know how many people at your hotel will be waiting for a shuttle. One large group ahead of you, you have to wait for the next one.

Something else to keep in mind with using a taxi; make a reservation ahead of time, and make it early! We waited until the last minute and we had to wait quite a while for our taxi to arrive.

We used M & H Taxi. They told us to call the day before, which we did. When they were about 10-15 min. late, I called to remind, they were there in 10 min.
