Hotels in South Carolina recommend?

Just wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for a hotel that we could stop at in South Carolina. I am thinking either Florence, Sumter, Summerville, any suggestions would be great!!!

We stop at Hilton Head Island on the way home. IT has a lot of hotel choices. Just a thought.
