Hotels in Niagara Falls

DH and I are planning a trip to Niagara Falls, Canada in a few months. We have it narrowed down to 2 hotels-Doubletree Resort Lodge & Spa or the Hilton Niagara Falls. Does anyone have any experience at either of these 2 hotels? Any info on them would be appreciated.

We stay twice a year and there and although have never stayed at the Doubletree (not so great an experience at another one) The Hilton is absolutely fantastic. Get their breakfast deal for the mornings. We haven't been since April, but just booked for this coming Spring and we still dream about it! Their pool is great, with towels at the pool. The rooms are very clean and nice and it is well situtated. If you are Casino bound, there is an indoor bridge that connects them.

Thanks for the info. Is the pool as nice as it looks? I think we're probably going with this one, my DH can't get past the pool/slide. I wanted Doubletree simply for the fact of really comfortable beds. I've heard they're great there.

Actually, the beds at the Hilton are nicer than the ones we tried at the other Doubletree. The pool is actually as good or better than it looks

We just returned from the Doubletree yesterday. The beds were awesome! The room was clean and new. They have a small "adults only" pool, which is nice if you don't want the kids splashing you - but no slide. It's a little closer to Clifton Hill than the Hilton. We did have a problem with our bill - they charged us for three nights parking when we were only there for two and two movies that we did not get, but there was no problem having those charges removed.

I stayed at the Doubletree in the fall. It is the newest hotel in NF, and absolutely beautiful on the inside. Also, I love the Doubletree cookies!!! I find you cannot go wrong with any Hilton Brand.
