hotels in/near yosemite?

anyone have any recommendations? i'm afraid the ahwahnee is a little bit out of our price range.

friend of ours are getting married there next summer and we've been told that you have to snag a room a year in advance because they sell out quickly. any recommendations would be appreciated. i've been there before, but as a kid, and we were camping.

You could also try Yosemite Lodge.

Or, if you don't mind the drive from the 'above' to the valley, the Wawona Hotel is classic too.

We used to stay in Curry Village Housekeeping.
