Hotels in Copenhagen

I can add another reason we picked the Imperial was they had air conditioning and it indeed worked perfectly. It was also quiet there although I do remember choosing "quiet location" when we booked our room. The buffet breakfast was very good and the hotel was nice.

There are lots of great choices in Copenhagen for sure! :)

We had AC at the Scandic Palace. I remember turning it down nice and low to sleep. I also remember reading on Tripadvisor that they had renovated to install it.

We stayed at Radisson Blu Royal pre-cruise. I didn't book it through Disney and got a decent price when Travelocity was having a 10 or 15% off sale. I chose it because we wanted to take the train into the city from the airport, and the hotel is very close to the main train station. Also, it is very close to Tivoli, and I knew we wanted to go there one evening. I would choose this hotel again.

Post-cruise, we stayed at Copenhagen Plaza, even closer to the main train station. We had an early flight home, and I thought it would be very convenient to just walk across the street to the main station to get the train. That part was very nice. However, I found the hotel to be very understaffed, and there were some maintenance issues. I would have chosen the Radisson Blu Royal post-cruise as well, but it was sold out.

I would love to hear recommendations for hotels pre- cruise in Copenhagen. We are a family of 3 (16yr old son) so that makes it a little harder because we need a room that sleeps all 3 of us. I would love to be in the center of things in town and not break the bank. Thanks in advance.
I've stayed once at Scandic Webers. Nice hotel, just a few minutes from the Central Station.

We stayed at The Square, Copenhagen. It was very nice. The breakfast was really, really good. It's very near Tivoli and convenient. We are a family of 4 so no problems with space. I would definitely stay again.

We had 3 adults and stayed at the Andersen Hotel in Vesterboro, 3 blocks from the train station. Hotel was very nice, had free breakfast every morning and a free happy hour reception every night from 5 to 6. It is one of TripAdvisor's Top 10 in Copenhagen. For 3, I did not feel the price was terrible at around $250 US per night.

A bit further out, but we stayed in the Ocean Hotel, near the airport. It was in a nice, quiet residential area (no noise from airport despite being less than 5 minutes away by taxi). Great service, delicious breakfast. There's a Metro station quite close by, and by Metro to the center of town was less than 10 minutes. You're also walking distance from the Aquarium.

We chose it because it was relatively cheap (we were surprised how expensive hotels were in Copenhagen), and we had a room that could sleep all of us together (4 adults and 1 child). We would definitely stay there again.
