Hotels.com HELP

I am booked 5 nights at WL, first time there, woods view $199 no discount codes avail. to appy to it I was really bummed. Have had ressie since summer with AAA discount. Will be there Dec. for Christmas Party want to stay here for decorations. Anyways was on hotels.com can get same dates Courtyard view $149 or Superior 2 Queen Beds $132. Anyone know what this room is? Would it be standard view? Also is woods view worth $50 a night extra for 5 nights? HELP There is no cancellation on hotels.com. With Disney I can put in requests what should I do? I'm thinking forget the $250 leave it alone????? Be easier if I'd stayed at WL before I have heard upgrade from standard that's all I know.

I looked at hotels.com too, because I couldn't get BAT or BAS on our dates. Just too much uncertainty there. You can't get any info on what their room categories mean, and if I paid for anything other than a standard room at any resort, I'd be worried that when I showed up Disney would just stick me in a standard room anyway, and I'd be left without much to argue about and nobody really to call that I would confident would answer the phone.

Did you check expedia? That's ultimately what I went with. Their room categories are named the same as disneys, and I knew I'd get a confirmation I could print out that said, "lagoon view," plus a 24-hour 1-800 number if there's any problem. Plus, you can cancel on expedia, with a $25 penalty. The downside is you need to pay the whole amount up front.

I'm interested to see if you get other answers, because my judgment was that hotels.com was too risky, for anything other than a standard view room.
