hotels.com / fastpass+ question

I have searched and maybe I'm just missing it but here's my question:

I am going to stay at Pop in October. It is almost $50 cheaper if I book through hotels.com.

While on the phone with a CM he informed me we would be part of FP+ testing if we stayed there.

My question is: If I book through hotels.com will we receive the same perk and will I be able to register this reservation on My Disney Experience?

Anyone know?

Yes.

After booking through Hotels.com you'll need to call them to request your POP confirmation #. You'll receive that via e-mail (and you may have to call a couple of times before your request is followed through) and once you have that Disney confirmation #, enter that into the appropriate section on MDE!

Thanks for the response . I decided to just book through Disney to make it all easy on me. They've already shipped the magic bands but shows my husband's isn't eligible so I guess I will need to call them again....sigh....
