I reserved the Radisson but this is my first cruise so I'm trying to see what's the best way to go. We will be driving down.
Do any of the Port hotels have beach access
I'm curious what people think. I have the residence inn right next door, and they will let me leave my car there for a minimal cost. They have a shuttle to the cruise ship too they told me. Anyone with any insight?
We booked the Hampton Inn for our upcoming cruise after researching Cocoa Beach hotels that had beach access. We previously stayed at the Country Inn and Suites and we're going to stay there again except we decided to change things up to get closer to the beach. When I spoke to the Hampton front desk, they said that a shuttle was available to the port if this is important for you.
We stayed at the Residence Inn prior to our Disney cruise. Everything was great! We also utilized their parking package with shuttle service. The hotel was immaculate and the breakfast in the morning was very good. They even allowed me to use their laundry facility upon return from our cruise, before we headed on to WDW. I would definitely stay there again.
We're travelling in April 2017. What's the best way to go---should we rent a car from Orlando or pay for transportation? We're coming in the day before the cruise and want to stay close to the port. Is it then possible to take the Magical Express back to the airport for the return flight home? (Only using it one-way?)
I was able to get a decent package deal with a AAA discount. Look at their "special" rates to see if any apply to you. Good luckI was thinking about going here as well. They are a little higher than what I wanted.
