Hotel Recommendation

Hello, I am looking for a moderately priced hotel that would be appropriate for a family outing next June. It would be my husband and I in one room, my father in law and mother in law in another room and my sister in law, brother in law and niece (5) and nephew (3) in the final room. There is a possibility my other brother in law and his wife might go for a few days. I guess we would need a nice pool for in the afternoon for the kids. Also, a place we wouldn't have to wait long for the bus or tram.

My hubby and I stayed at PO for our honeymoon in '99 and really enjoyed it there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I usually decide my resort choice by:

1. Cost

2. Location ... which park do I want to be closer to, spend more time at.

3. Theme of resort, and ammenities of resort. Pool, marina, resturants, services.

4. Do I want to try something different? Split resorts with 2 or more? for a long stay? Go back to a favorite?

All that being said: The 4 moderate resorts all cost the same, have the same ammenities, and the rooms are basically the same, with small changes. I would pick which area you prefer CS is out nearer ak / bb but has a nice pool. cbr is in the middle but a bus ride everywhere, and very very spread out, however it has 7 pools. Leaving the po-rs & po-fq. Which are my personal favorites, location, location, location, & a boat to somewhere!

Its a very short ride. The difference between the two. fq has just been rehabed, and is less spread out, where as rs has old south charm & I prefer the resturant & food courts, lovely Alligator bayou rooms and the manisons are breathtaking from the outside!

So guess I pick PO_RS or as I remember it DXL.

But go through the list with your family and see how they answer the questions.
