Hotel Parking Question

I will be going in October and am trying to decide where to stay for my trip. Since I will be driving up from San Diego, I will have a rental car. How does parking at the close offsite hotels work? For example, I will arrive Sunday afternoon around 1-2 p.m. and leave late Monday night. Will I be able to park at the hotel all 3 days? Will I only really have parking after check in time on Saturday and until check out time on Monday?

If that is the case, then I might look at staying further off site and driving since I will have to put the car somewhere anyways on my first and last day.

It depends on where you stay. Some hotels charge for parking. Some have very limited parking and will require you to move your car at check out.

Hojos is very good: free parking and you can park the full 3 days.

Last summer at BWPPI they let us keep our car in the parking lot until 3pm on the day of check out. At that time though they didn't charge for parking, now they do, so I'm not sure if this has changed??

We were able to leave our car in the lot after check out at the following hotels-

Tropicana
Best Western Park Place Inn
HoJo's
Candy Cane Inn
Anaheim Plaza

It was never an issue at any of these hotels.

Candy Cane Inn is really great with their parking. We got a parking pass the minute we arrived at the hotel, even before check in time. Then when we checked in we got our real parking pass. It didn't have any dates on it, so it was good until we decided to leave.

Free parking there too, that was a bonus. We had stayed at Embassy Suites many times before and their parking was pricey.
