Hello,
we are surprising our kids and niece with a trip late aug early sept.
We are driving down in the night to surprise them, we are telling them we are going to the beach. (hoping they fall asleep, wake up dreary and we put them in a hotel room, tell them "we made it" and the next morning wake them up and surprise!!!!!!)
I am looking for a place to stay, we dont check in to AoA until the next morning.
1. If we arrive in orlando at say...2am, where can we stay for a few hours and rest up before heading into AoA and then MK for the day?
2. It would be ideal to stay somewhere outside orlando, nothing fancy, just clean and within an hour or so radius of our destination.
Any tips? Ideas? thanks in advance

Look into Hawthorn Suites, Orlando/Lake Buena Vista. Just a mile to entrance of Downtown Disney. A suite gives you two rooms, kitchen, living area, with a bedroom which includes 2 queen size beds and a queen size sofa pullout. Very clean hotel plus a buffet breakfast (hot and cold selections, drinks, fruits, yogurts. toast, muffins etc. It is the only place we stay when visiting all of the Orlando theme parks, especially Disney. :thumbsup2

from the west down I-75 and then the toll road. Winter Garden and Ocoee are right where we get off to get to WDW. There are some some reasonable hotels. You should 20 minutes or so from the parks.

Thanks that's what Im looking for. Not a place to spend a week, just a night or 5 hours.. :dance3:
