hotel on the road near florence ky

We will be driving down from St Catharines and am looking for a hotel around Florence Kentucky for a stopover on our way down to Disney. There are 5 of us (2 adults & 3 teenagers) and need a room with queen size beds, if possible, and then we will have to get a rollaway bed or a suite hotel would be great. I must say I'm picky about hotels. Not too expensive, but clean. This trip we are taking our time. We will leave after hubby gets off work and drive for about 5 hrs and stay in Seville Ohio. It is the next hotel about half way to Disney that seems to be the problem. We are driving down on th i75. Any info would be great. Thanks

iwould check out trip advisor. I might suggest buying the Along I75 book by Dave Hunter or borrow one from your local library. I has hotels and restaurants along the way and is a great map of your trip. I'll take a look a little later of the hotels @ Florence KY and post them. Take Care Kathy

It says that Florence is only 7&1/2 hrs from your city is this for the way home? If you click directions you can find the results of the search I did. Good luck with your planning I usually print the Mapquest direction from our house to Disney and use this along with the I75 book and the hotel book I get from CAA for the states of kentucky and Georgia

it is an absolute asset if you are travelling down the I-75. We referred to this book every step along the way-it was great, Tells everything from where restaurants, gas stations, hotels, construction and speedtraps are. I was able to buy this book at Chapters or Coles.

There's a chain recommended by Dave's book "Jameson Inns" I know they are in S. Carolina and GA not sure about KY. I think last year we paid $50 with CAA, very nice and clean.

This is a hotel for the way home. Sorry, I have been trying to find hotels on the way there and coming back. I forgot which way I was going!!! We are staying in Byron, Georgia the first night coming home. It is about 5 hrs from Disney, so that we still have time at Disney the day we leave and don't have to get up at 5 am. Florence Ky is about half way after that. I do have Dave Hunter's book. We found it very helpful on our last trips, but with changing the length of hours on the road (getting old, can't do 11 hr days) the hotels have changed. Thanks for the info from Mapquest. I was just wondering if anyone has stayed at any of these hotels. Thanks again.

Why don't you try the I-90, I-79, US 19, I-77, I-26, I-95, I 4 route if you are leaving from St Catharines?

We just returned from WDW. Great drive!! Don't speed in Summersvile WV on US 19.

We're stopping in Florence on our way down to WDW in May & I have the Hampton Inn on Turfway Road booked (it's close to the I75). I have a friend who lives in Florence who says it's nice & clean which is important to me. If it's a Friday or Saturday night, you can actually get the Hilton cheaper with an online (no cancellation) booking, but it's much more than the Hampton on weekdays.

I also have a book for going along the I75, it's awesome! I followed it the whole way there. On the way back we went to Savanagh GA to visit my sister in law and took 95, god did we miss the book!!! Here are some hotels in Florence from the book Ramada Inn, Holiday Inn, Super 8 ,Wildwood Inn, Travelodge, Days inn, econolodge. I know some of them are dumpy but just listed everything for you that was there!!! We are driving in July from Brampton and we are planning on leaving at 3am (we did that last year) and driving for 16 hrs, last year we drove for 14 but husband wanted to keep going but we had made reservations at a hotel so we had to stop, this time no res!!!
