Hotel New York or Newport Bay?

I'm having a hard time deciding between the two. Any thoughts?

Always Hotel New York... Location, Location, Location... Its on my bucket list, havent stayed there yet though

For the moment I would choose Newport Bay because it has just been refurbished.

Im staying at Hotel New York in September, so Im hoping its as good as people said it is. Ive been given a ton of recommendations to stay there, so fingers crossed!

We stayed in Newport Bay last September, during the refurbishments and even then I preferred it to Hotel New York. Don't get me wrong, HNY is lovely but I just prefer the bright and airy feel of NPB. It's only 5 minutes or so extra walk to the parks as well.

You can't go wrong with either though!

I haven't stayed at either yet but I booked the newport bay because it had just been refurbed and a friend had just come back from HNY and said it was a little tired looking though the location to the park is closer.

I'm going 4th of July to the NPB so I'll report back when I get back
