Hotel near Disney.....

Looking for a cheap hotel room to stay 1 night in before we begin our stay at Pop. Looking to stay off resort for this one night just to explore the other attractions around Disney.

Wanting to stay around $100 or less for 1 room. It will just be me, DW, & DD.

We usually drive in to disney world from new jersey and we always have to stay somewhere 1 night b4 we check in too...last april we stayed at the lake buena vista quality suites...qualitysuiteslbv.com....they[/url] were very reasonable with there rates and u get a suite with a kitchen.. we checked sheratonsafari and there rates were just as much and u only get a standard room...also quality suites offers free breakfast with make ur own waffles..they were yummy!!!...its located right in downtown disney it was literally 1 min from the disney gates. It was very clean(and im a germ-a-phob lol) and they have a nice pool and hot tub!!!

and i was just checking rates for myself there for in late september for 4 adults and 1 child and it was $69 i couldnt believe it and they dont charge extra fot more than 2 in the room u can have up to 6 ppl!!!!

Thanks for that suggestion, wish they were $69 for Oct. but it looks like it's $109 a night during that time.

Anyone else have any other suggestions?

It seems like the Oct. dates are high everywhere I've check.

Might just stay the night at Pop.

Yeah I found that one on tripadvisor. Looks like the only real complaint is the slow elevators. Maybe I can get a ground floor room.

Looks like Comfort Inn will be the place.

Seems like they have some new rooms currently that are on the 1st, 5th & 6th floors from what the desk attendant told me so if anyone needs to a ground level room, they said you should book a new room.

We stayed at the Royal Plaza for 4 nights over Thanksgiving weekend this past Nov and thought it was great. The room we had was very nice and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We paid $69/nt. In addition I think we paid a total of $18 in fees per night, $8 resort fee and $10 self parking. The resort is about a 10 minute walk to DTD. The hotel transportation stops at all of the DTD hotels, so walking is much faster.

I, too, had read some varying reviews on RP and was a little leery but it turned out to be a great experience and well worth the price.

We had really good luck with ebay last year before our trip. We bid on a 4 star/Resort and ended up with Hyatt Regency at downtown Disney. It was fabulous and we only ended up paying around 80 a night.

we have stayed at royal plaza last couple of trips for 1 night also. broken elevator last year but other than that ok for the price. trying to find one now for early june but the mousesavers rate is already locked up for the night we need. really want just a clean place to sleep for one night for less than 80. any more than that i i think i would just add a night at POR. any other ideas. must be really clean!
