Hotel Kingdom Payment Policy

I just booked Cypress Pointe through HOtel Kingdom. They charged me the initial down payment but I thought that once the reservation was confirmed they charged the balance? How has it been done for anyone who has done it this way before? I would rather have it paid before we get there

Yes, you will be charged for the full amount within a couple of days. You will get a second confirmation email once your reservation has been accepted with the breakdown of what portion goes to Hotel Kingdom and exactly what amount goes to Cypress Pointe, which is charged immediately to your credit card.
 
Thanks I got an initial receipt for the down payment and then another email that had a tracking number and some kind of confirmation number but thats it..since it said Instant Confirmation I figured it was already all done and wondered why they didnt charge the balance

I will watch my email for the next few days
 
Since we just booked with Hotel Kingdom at the beginning of May, I just went and looked at what all was emailed to me. The day I made the booking, I got two emails-the first included a tracking # and confirmation # with the reservation details but no mention of charges. A few hours later they sent me an email with a charge of $42.66 that went to Hotel Kingdom. The next day I received another two emails from Hotel Kingdom, the first was another confirmation this time with a breakdown of all charges including the full amount that was charged to my credit card. The 4th email was a 'thank you for using Hotel Kingdom', and included some clickable links to get some discounts to area restaurants and attractions. HTH

Double check the amounts so make sure they total what they are supposed to, including tax. I'm sure it doesn't happen often, but a couple of months ago I was overcharged on the CPR side of the transaction. Hotelkingdom investigated for me and said that a clerk had accidently transposed the numbers when entering my transaction. It was taken care of, but unless my dh had noticed the error we would have been overcharged.
 
dis-happy, as soon as I read your post I went and took a better look at the emails that I was sent. Everything was fine, but it made me stop and think that about all I did when I got the confirmation was to check that the dates were correct and the room size was right. Thanks for posting and making me take a second look. With all the excitement of planning the trip, I tend to kind of forget the most important part...making sure the $$$$ is correct!!
