We are planning a trip to DLP the end of August this year with my parents, sister and her family. We love all things Disney and plan to sprinkle some pixie dust in their direction. We are looking at the more affordable hotels ie The Explorers, holiday inn and Hotels at Bussy st George.

Help needed with -my parents wish to visit Paris ,so location close to RER would be ideal.(AGES 64 and65)
-My sister and my Neice require a swimming pool.(aged 3.5 years)
- We require a good sized room because our twin boys are 16yrs.
-Money is a consideration because I hope to pay for my parents.Yes a tall order but We want them to feel the magic, thank you.

The Explorer, Holiday Inn would fit the bill as they all have pools are relatively cheaper in comparison to on-site. The Explorer gives you the option of cabin room but not sure if this is suitable for larger children. Someone who has been will hopefully be able to confirm :)
Both these off-site hotels are connected by a shuttle bus to the parks. This stops right beside train station so your parents would have no difficulty getting into Paris.

I remember your posts of before and thought what a lovely way to spread some magic for your mum and dad :goodvibes

Can't really help. Just wanted to say good luck with your planning. :)

Well you have came to the right place then :goodvibes

I've stayed at the Explorers. There is an age limit of 15 on the bunk beds in the cabin room, it must be to do with weight because they seem to be full size beds. I don't know how strict they are about this. In the standard room, there is a double bed and two singles. If all you are doing is sleeping there, it would be OK, there is plenty of storage space for 4 but the room is definitely smaller than that you would find in Florida, for example you don't get the table and chairs to sit at. If you want to have a cup of tea/coffee in your room, you will have to sit on your bed. Hope you understand what I am getting at, I think the room is OK but didn't want you thinking it was the size of the ones at WDW. :goodvibes

Here are a couple of links to the Explorers. http://www.benotel.com/france/eurodisney/explorers/

I vote for Holiday Inn. If you book early trought their website you can get a very good fare. If you don't want to book the breakfast (wich is very expensive) you can have it at the park or at McDonalds.
The hotel is very well comunicated with the park & rail station with frequent shuttles and your parents will apreciate the 4 stars from this hotel against the Explorers. There are an outside & inside swimming pools, rooms are brand new, big enough (not as big as disney hotels) and the theming is great!
