I would stay at Non-Club level GF, but if you've always wanted to stay at the Poly then I would choose the Poly just to try something different.

Wilderness Lodge! A lower cost deluxe option with really great food, theming and grounds. No monorail, but boats- especially the boat to the Contemporary, from which you can stroll over to the Magic Kingdom.

I voted other. After 12 days at Disney, I would want to do something completely different, and this is coming from a huge Disney fan! I would go on a DCL cruise or visit the dark side (Uni), or save my vacation time to do something else entirely different another time of the year.

I voted GF non club room, moving resorts with a toddler is kind of a pain. They will help you move, after all it is the GF lol
Honestly my 2nd choice would be WL ( not on your list)
If you have to move WL is very nice, get kids pool, boat ride to MK, great places to eat! Lots of pluses at WL

I think I would go with the Beach Club. Animal Kingdom Lodge can be a long walk from different areas. Then you can go from BC to eat at some nice restaurants at Epcot.

Vinotinto- I will do some research. I plan on doing at least 3 days Universal as DS loved Seuss Landing and the three day tickets seem to work out cheaper than one day by one. I don't know anything about the hotels there but Im about to get educated. Youtube marathon about to begin!!!

DisneyHenry- Would you believe I had no idea about the cruises till a few days ago. Similarly to universal I seem to have been living in a cave and have no knowledge! I have to read up!!

Sue M- I love the balconies at Disney for evenings I wasn't aware about BC not having them?! Good to know as to me it makes a huge difference!! Do you know if you see the Epcot fireworks from there??

It can be pricey, but sometimes there are good deals, and it's one resort that would actually feel like an upgrade from the Grand Floridian. Especially if you're interested in relaxing at the resort, enjoying pools, lazy river, tennis, walks, spa time, and/or golf.

I would go for an Epcot resort and do the BC. We did a Poly/BC split before and it was the best of both worlds.

I love the YC/BC and the Polynesian...so that's a tough one for me. It would depend upon what your itinerary looked like. If you are not doing parks or plan on more pool time...BC definitely.

Some of the BC rooms only have a Juliette mini balcony, in its' sister resort - the YC - 99% of the rooms have a full balcony. I'd opt for BC/YC. Perhaps CL.
SAB is great, being able to walk into Epcot from the International gate is a huge plus.

If you child were older, I would recommend the BC for quick Epcot access and the amazing pool. But, for a toddler, I would go with the WL---the grounds are beautiful, the Whispering Canyon Cafe is a lot of fun, and the boat ride to MK is great. Otherwise, I would choose the AKL with a savannah view. It's a totally unique resort and the animals are fascinating. Both AKL and WL have a very relaxing atmosphere. GF is my all-time favorite, but I would recommend a stay in WL or AKL just because the experience will be so different. The Poly is OK, but I don't think it compares to the GF. You may find that opinion is in the minority, though.

I have stayed at 2 US resorts, the Royal Pacific and Hard Rock. These, plus the Portofino are the "deluxe" resorts. You get the Front of the Line pass include with your resort stay. It makes a BIG difference! It also works for most restaurants, so no ADR's to worry about. Stay at the end of your trip. You'll also want to relax around their wonderful pools!

I kind agree with your personal Poly vs GF from what I have seen. I don't really see them on the same level any more after a few experiences there with transportation issues and just the sheer amount of people!!

I have a little desire to go to Disney alone one day and stay in WL/AKL and just chill!! Even if its just one or two days of me time alone.. it would be HEAVEN!!
