Ok..leaving in 2 days and can't decide on which hotel. I have a rate at the roadway inn at $39.00/nt or the Quality Inn & Suites Anaheim Resort for $44.79. Don't care about the aminites just closest to disneyland eathier walking or taking the art.

Which one would you all choose. Or is there a better budget property you would suggest. We are going the 26th-29th.

I don't know where Roadway Inn is, but Quality Inn & Suites is right behind the Fairfield. Probably walkable, if you cut through the Fairfield parking lot to Harbor Blvd. I'd say about a 15 min walk.

Here's a map to help you:

Both are definitely budget, and I haven't read real positive reviews on either. Have you checked tripadvisor.com?

I saw the reviews on tripadvisor. Roadway inn the reviews were ok. Nothing to bad. Just can't decide if I want to spend more money just for a place to lay our head for the night.

I totally understand your dilema. I honestly don't know anything about those hotels. But, if you are on a tight budget, you do what you have to do. Are you sure the entertainment rate for the HOJO isn't available?? The entertainment book is usually $25, but they are offering $10 off, which would make the book $15, with free shipping. But that would make the HOJO $59 or something like that per night, which is a great deal, and at least you would know you have a nice clean room to lay that head. I haven't heard one bad thing about them on this site. I'm thinking I might actually stay there myself on one of our trips this year.

Good luck with whatever you decide!

Is there anyway to get the entertainment rate without the book. I don't have time to get the book here by saturday.

I don't think so, but I don't know for sure. It wouldn't hurt to call and ask them. There is a HOJO employee that posts and answers questions on this board and in most of her posts she has her phone number and email address. If you find another hotel thread or HOJO thread, you could probably get her info and call directly and see what she can do for you. You never know.

If nothing else, Quality Inn and Suites probably wouldn't be a bad hotel, and if you can get reservations there, I would go for it. I don't know about the walk, or ART, but you can always call and ask. It looked like they were a Good Neighbor hotel according to the Disney website, so you may be able to get ART passes.

If you find the Entertainment rate is available you might be able to track down the book in time. I saw Entertainment books ($10 off) at Blockbuster and I know that several local credit unions sell them. Good luck!

Tina
