Kaltxí ma frapo!

Ok so, weird question with a bit of clarifying back (literally) story!

Do any of the resorts have hot tubs for use by the customers?

I know florida gets hot, and i am a northern-blooded na'vi. Yanno, the kind of person that wears shorts when floridians are in hoodies x3. But due to a back injury i had as a child i would love the option of a good soak to loosen up my back tension after a day on my feet and enjoying some jostling rides.

Are hot tubs a thing at WDW?

Many people enjoy the hot tubs year round.

You’ll find them at moderate and deluxe resorts. Value resorts don’t have hot tubs.

At the moderates they are at the main pool, at the deluxes there is one at the main pool and one at the quiet pool.

Sorry to sound dumb. But whats a quiet pool?

The quiet pools are just another name for the additional pools at the resorts.

They’re generally less busy then the main pool at each resort because they don’t have the pool games/music, or water slides, but it doesn’t necessarily mean they are quiet.

I am right there with you about liking access to a hot tub. Just an FYI, the hot tubs at the mods are inadequate when it comes to accommodating the number of guests each resort serves. I loved everything about Riverside except the fact that the hot tub was so crowded at all times that I never felt like I could really enjoy it. On the other hand, we stayed at BWI on a holiday weekend and had the quiet pool hot tub to ourselves.

Disney's name for quiet pools is leisure pools. They usually are the unthemed pools and usually no slides. Basic rectangular pools, no fun Disney stuff, just chairs and a few tables.

We usually stay at YC or BC...there are several hot tubs. For whatever reason, they never seem very hot so I avoid them. Maybe because of the number of folks in and out. I do sometimes use the one at the quiet pool if we venture there.

I really love the idea of a good hot soak after a long day. That surprises me that the hot tub would be full! Florida to me equates hot so youd think a hot tub would be out of style!

Nope, the one's in the main pools are almost always crowded year round. Unfortunately, most of the time they are full of kids jumping in and out. This is why I prefer the quiet pools, because they don't have the slides and games or lifeguards, there tend to be less kids in them. We use them even in the dead of summer. Get in the hot tub to soak out all those aches and pains, then get in the pool to cool off, repeat.

I always have good luck at the POFQ hot tub. It’s small, but away from the main pool area, so not over run with kids jumping in and out.

And no life guards

You realize how sore muscles get walking 12 miles a day? Hot Tubs are life savers to us old folks LOL

Quiet pools also tend to be tucked away in little areas rather than in the middle of the resort. While the main pools have more amenities, there are a number of resorts where we prefer the quiet pool (because it is quiet and much more likely to be empty or nearly empty) and even request a room close to it.
