Ok your DVC room has a Hot Tub and you and your SO want to use it but you have 2 small children. What do you do? How can you use it in a Romantic way without letting kids know you are in there?

It's never appropriate to lock a door between you and small children. So either the kids are old enough to watch themselves for a little while and follow your order not to be disturbed, or you're old enough the put off romance until you get back home. :-)

The only way out of this that I can think of is to put the kids into a childcare area (like the Cubs Den at WL) for a few hours. Our kids used to love this and not feel exiled at all. It gave us time to have a romantic meal and feel like we were on a date.

I never thought to hide it from my kids that dh and I bathe together at times.....but generally if more than bathing is going on we wait until they're asleep.

I don't happen to agree with the locked door comment either....as long as proper precautions are taken to be sure the kids are safe, and the lock is on your side....its no different than a closed door, it just guarantees that they can't enter without making themselves known. Of course, every parent needs to use their own judgement based on their knowledge of their child.

There are kids clubs at several resorts....Neverland Club at the Polynesian, one at the Beach Club, and I think WL and AKL have them too. We've never had the chance to try one....10 days after my second child turned 4 we had the baby.

Either wait til the kids go to sleep, or get them set up with a video they get engrossed in, or use one of the childcare places.

your children have watched you and your dh bathe together?????

You position it in the practical sense... you put the kids in bed, and tell them that mom & dad are going to take a bath after a long and hot day at the parks before they go to bed. The fact that you're sharing a bath doesn't have to enter into the conversation. We lock the doors... and the air jets in the tub provide lots of "cover" noise. ;)
