River Belle Terrace – Premium Package Fantasmic food review?

Hi. I went on August 20th. I am here now. This was well worth it. I was in the second row and the view was good almost dead center looking at the stage. The food was excellent. I watched the fireworks after. You could see everything some fireworks through the trees. Some were high in the sky.
I was at a table that could seat 3.
There are only 17 available tables and they assigned by your booking time.

Glad you enjoyed it. What did you order?

I got that dish a few weeks ago and it was spicier than I thought it would be. I think it’s all relative!
Lol. Same! We dined there 7/29. I still really enjoyed the food. I was just glad our kids were not there. I know my 14 year old would have ordered the pasta and I don’t think he would have been pleased about the spice level.

Really? I thought the meal package wep oage said you could order off the regular menu a RBT
I was in the parks today and stopped by RB to ask the hostess if one could order from the regular menu for Fantasmic. They said, "I think.... maybe..... You would have to ask your server if it is possible." So that didn't sound as confident as what is listed on the website.

That sounds just about right.

Just did the dining package this week. Overall, the food was not that good (in our opinion), but the seating was GREAT! We did this dining package back in 2019 and really enjoyed the food... sadly, this time it wasn't it for us.
Glad you enjoyed the seats. I agree about the food. For the price, it should be a lot better.

That's too bad about the food. I think it must depend on the night. We went in 2019 and it was horrible, but in 2022 it was great.

Start practicing several days early so you know where to spot the Premium listing.
I tried to do so for 2 weeks, it never showed up at 6am pt - as I've only one chance to see it on 11/8 (so my day is coming on 9/9). Never had a problem at WDW with booking hard-to-get-dining-reservations.
So what am I doing wrong? There are just the regular dining packages available at 6am pt on the dot. Is it perhaps that I try to get a reservation for 1 person (me)??? Blue Bayou also never have anything open for 1 or 2 persons, but is showing up for 3 or 4 even hours after 6am pt. So should I try for 3 on my day as the chances are higher?

Maybe try for at least 2. It’s not prepaid so won’t cost you extra. When I was trying the premium listing was stuck in the middle of all the other packages so not easy to see right away.

I was going to say the same. It’s buried in the list of all the dining choices. It took me a second to find it!

Restaurants hate a single people dining alone. They make less money filling a table meant for 2-4 when a single person is dining alone. I can't tell you how many times I am asked if I want to sit a the bar. If I wanted to sit at the bar (which I do at times, because there is usually no wait) I would have asked for the bar.

I would try it for 3 people and see what happens. I believe you can call and modify it after to just a single person.

okay, than I will try for 3 I think. For two was the same scenario as I tried it parallel on my phone.
I already thought that it will be mixed in with the others, but 1.) there were always only the same 6 options for 1/2 persons (never Blue Bayou as already mentioned) and 2.) I'm a fast reader and only looked for premium and there never was a word with p at 6.00:00am.
That's why I asked, as I really need it - because of a back injury I just can't sit on the ground and standing is not possible with the normal dining packages...

I booked for 2 for all my reservations on my recent August trip. When I checked-in, I told them just 1 it was fine. I was alone at my table for the F! package and there was another guest at another table alone.
