Hot Dog Toppings

I used to be a straight mustard girl.....then I moved to the Carolinas Now I use chili, slaw, and ketchup......oh and mustard too! Hold the onions on mine though.

We have Costco dogs every so often.
Most folks load them up with all four offered toppings.
Ketchup, Mustard, Onions & Sweet Relish.
I am included in "most folks".

Are the Costco Hot Dogs good? These are likely the brand that we will use. It is either these or "Cloverdale" and I have never heard of this brand.

Well dang, DH has been telling me for years that I'm the only person on the planet who puts mayo on a hot dog, and now this poll is going to prove him right!

I do put ketchup and onions on there too, and sweet relish if it's available.

You need to have all the basics & then you could and some speciality signature item like onion straws or something like that

My dad is from Brooklyn and he raised me on the "New York Dog" which includes spicy brown mustard and saurkraut. Ketchup wasn't even allowed on our table on dog night. Because of this I can't stand even the smell of ketchup on a hot dog

I like ketchup on mine, but if there is cheese sauce around (like at 7-11), then I will opt for that. Mmmmmmmmm!

k w/ onion
k and mustard
k, m and onion
k, m, o, and coney or chili sauce
k, m, o, c/c s, and c/j cheese
k, m, o, c/c s and nacho cheese sauce
k, m, o, c/c s, c/j cheese, tomatoes, and relish
Sauerkrat

I like that is it for the different combos any one of us will do.

I must live a very sheltered life...have never heard of putting slaw on a hot dog, nor tomatoes, lettuce or pickles.

And only thought of sauerkraut as something for a brat.

The only way mom could get us kids to try sauerkraut was by cutting up hot dogs and mixing them together. When DH worked 3rds and would go in early, there were many a nights, where I would make me a bowl of kraut and dogs for dinner.

I hate kraut on a brat, but love it on polish sausage.

I LOVE mayo on a hot dog! Maybe it's an Alabama thing?

I also like to put avacado and tomatoes. My husband calls that the California Dog.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE "KRAUT AND WINNIES"!

That is major comfort food for me. When we first married and I moved 900 miles from Mom, I called her to ask how to make it. She laughed at me. I am a much better cook now!

Don't forget the brown mustard! Some of us prefer that to the yellow.
