My dd really liked the nescafe hot chocolate.

I'm guessing this will no longer be available.
Do joffreys make hot chocolate also?
Is it any good?
:)

Oh my gosh, I did not even think of that!
Thank-you, I am running out and buying my fav. Cocoa mix!

Why will this no longer be possible? Are they changing the cocoa/coffee? What's Joffreys?

Joffrey's is the new brand of choice for all coffee carts, resort-wide. They changed over from Nescafé.

Any word yet on how it is? I know many people weren't fans of Nescafé.

I know that Ghiardelli's makes a hot chocolate. DH grabbed a packet for me at the Premier lounge at the airport. We can always hope for that!

I THINK Joffrey's is going to become the default coffee except for places where they have their own featured coffee brand. The places we had Joffrey's included the coffee stand at TTC and the stand outside Ellen's Energy Adventure. Notably, the stand outside EEA still had the latte with Bailey's or khalua like it did before, except with different coffee. DB had a cafe mocha and said it was okay. I had their hot chocolate and it wasn't as chocolate-y as I wanted. (Full disclosure: I work at Starbucks so I have my favorite hot chocolate recipe down to a science. When I'm home, I usually default to Ghiradelli mix.)

Tea drinkers will be happy to know that Joffrey's has lots of tea varieties in the coffee stands now. I saw tin containers of Green Jasmine, Earl Grey, etc. Not your standard yellow-label Lipton. I'm not sure if they were loose leaf or bags.

Places that serve Joffrey's display a "proudly brewing Joffrey's" sign outside of the kiosk. As far as I could tell at the CS locations, those were still the regular coffee. The other change I saw is that Joffrey's coffee is served in non-Disney branded cups; these cups were purple.

Here's an article about the switchover: www.wdwmagic.com/resorts/walt-disne...ghout-disney's-domestic-parks-and-resorts.htm

I stopped by the coffee/pastries kiosk in Epcot (by the Port of Entry gift shop going into the World Showcase) this past weekend for some hot chocolate, since it was cold and I'm not a huge coffee fan. I was wary, since the last hot chocolate I had at the world was a year ago, and it was very watery and pretty disappointing. However, the hot chocolate I got from there was wonderful! I knew it was probably Joffrey's, because 1) it tasted nothing like what I was subjected to a year ago, and 2) there were bags of Joffrey's all over the kiosk, making it seem that they had fully transitioned over to the new brand.

I liked this hot chocolate so much because it was creamy and tasted like it was prepared with milk. If it wasn't prepared with milk, they did a GREAT job with the mix! It was also very filling and since it was so rich, was definitely worthy of being called a dessert. Overall, I would definitely get this hot chocolate again, especially on a cool night!
