Hosting AND performing at DL?

This is just a question I have about Disneyland because I know basically nothing about how they work-it's not even really about the CP but I know y'all will answer.

I follow a girl on tumblr who works as a Character Host at DL, but I saw pictures of Anastasia at a recent show who looked EXTREMELY similiar to her. She is not in the CP, she works FT I think, but is it possible they pulled her to be a face character for just a little while and then returned her to her regular hosting job? Like if she was put in the character pool or something?

Sorry for getting off topic and I know my question is a little confusing but thanks for any help.

Two things.

1) Character Attendants/Hosts are either usually one or the other, if they pull the Attendant to be a Face character they usually stay there for a good while I think (unless they used to be a Face and pick up shifts on their own time and are still properly trained, but don't quote me on that

Yeah, I knew it was a stretch but I wasn't sure if the procedure was different at DLR than WDW.
