Dear friends,

Last summer the international flower- and plant exposition "Pacific Flora", took place in Hamamatsu (Japan). A lot of Hostas were on view there (a.o. a lot of botanical species) which are unknown to us. A friend of mine was visiting the exposition and took some photos. Today I 've wrote a text and published some of the photos on my site http://www.hostacollectie.be .Under the button "updates "(15.01.'05) you can see photos from H.Koorin, H.Kooga, H.Seekaai, H.Mangetsu, H.venusta 'Nikkoo' and much more
(in total 38 photos from rare Japanese Hostas)
Click on the photo to enlarge it.

I hope you enjoy it.
Friendly regards,

Thank you for sharing those with us. What part of Japan was the Hamamatsu held at?

Thanks for the link! I love hostas. The blueish one with the white stripe down the middle of the leaf was one I had not seen before.
