Host Pin Trade Line moving VERY SLOWLY!

Grand California is the best, I'd say... A Host Pin and very rare... In quite a demand nowadays...

Hey I'm giving up part of my convention/only-vacation-in-6-years to sit here in the hotel room and try to get into the pin trade at least once this weekend. And of course it not just giving up 30 minutes to wait in line and get a pin ----it giving up half a day of convention/vacation-in-6-years just to NEVER even get in the room.


While Paul is generally a very good sport about VMK he isn't understanding this weekend. LOL

Waiting in line for a host event is about the only time I get anything done anymore, so the wait is welcomed somewhat - the DC not so much and getting in the line can prove to be a trick.

Add another dc for me but I did see host Lily - thats got to be worth something.

Saturday had to be by far the worst day for dc I have ever experienced. I got into the rooms a total of 9 times and managed only one trade. I wanted to get a Grand Californian pin. I have been trying to trade for one of those since April. I dc'd one time in line before the room. Twice in line inside the room, 3 times next in line for the trade seat and twice I dc'd while in the trade with the host. Two of the times I dc'd in the room waiting bc the host dc'd and didnt make it back in time before vmk punched my ticket for the dc express. The one time I did manage to get a traded completed Host_Lily was in the seat trading and Host _Hula was standing behind her also trading to try an relieve the wait while in the room. They did not have the Grand Cali pin when I was trading and I got another zebra pin and the new Eyeball pin. This story does actually have a happy ending though. My brother Skippypaul and his girl both got in line to try and get the Grand Cali pin for me. He made it in the room completed the trade with Phinny and THEN dc'd before leaving the room. He gave me the pin for all the times I did host games to get him pins while he was at work. He is the best brother ...thank you Rob.

Dc is certainly at its worst this weekend. I watched my brother dc over and over again, even while in trade with the host. I got lucky tho, I completed the trade got the hotel pin for Scooter and even the eyeball pin for myself. So I guess there is a happy ending to this Dc weekend.
