Well it looks like what I suspected and what many of you had feelings about this person are true. It looks like the two horrible traders are one and the same. I would avoid both of them

Ack! I can't believe I did this. I agreed to a trade about two weeks ago with a lady, and now I'm paranoid. I haven't received my pin, and I just deleted the folder in my Outlook account with the e-mails in it for pin trading. I hate when I do stupid stuff like that. Would someone please e-mail me with the bad trader's ID etc? Thanks, Diana

Cruise, I agree completely! I am new to online pin trading and Pin Pics and I just did a trade with someone who was concerned since I had only one reference, but I did four trades so far.

I refered her to ebay to check my feedback. I can't get so involved with third party trades - this is supposed to be fun and all of a sudden you feel your integrity questioned.

I have never once checked a traders references - I'm usually too thrilled to be doing a trade, but I guess I better from now on.

Don't take asking for references personally. Whenever there is a rash of bad traders, people will ask. And there have been lately.
If someone doesn't have references I try to get up a little conversation to feel comfortable.
I haven't had a newbie let me down yet. Quite often they are the best traders.
Just today I left someone's first reference.
If a trade has gone as agreed, I always leave a reference -- esp for newbies as I know how important they are.
If people don't leave them for me, I am not so concerned since I do have a lot, and feel comfortable if anyone wants to inquire on any of them.
I would guess that a third, at least, do not leave references. Some will, but months later.
I generally do check references on those I have not traded with.

I have yt to be stuck in a pinpics trade, but it sounds as if I have been just very very lucky! What is a third party trade and how do you do it? Is this a good idea for all trades or only questionable ones?

I haven't done a third party trade yet.
This is when you ask someone to be a middle person for you. (Usually a board mod.)
Both traders mail their pins to the middle person. Once both pins are rec'd that person mails the pins to the appropiate trader.
Not necessarily a bad trader. Usually just a new trader. Maybe if HG's are involved, or a large trade.
