Horrible Tornados--Is Everyone OK out there?

There are 12 people dead in TN. One of the associates of my company lost the roof to his house--I'm waiting to hear from one of our regional managers to make sure everyone else is OK.

Memphis is still standing.....got some hail, and I think we're still under tornado warnings, but haven't seen anything since about 2 ish.

Everyone hang in there.....hopefully the worst is over.

Its pretty wild all around us (southern middle TN) Many tornadoes and lots of large hail, and there is still a line of storms yet to come.

We're in south nashville and not much other than a few 5 minute periods of rain. North of us it is BAD. Slightly west of us in Ashland City it is BAD. Right here in Metro, not much at all. My thoughts are with your associates Anne, I hope they are all getting through this.

I'm in southern middle, about two hours south east of nashville, we had our sherriff call in to one of the news stations, he said, "Its like a war zone out here" on the outskirts of town, we've got at least 3 dead.

Nothing bad at my house though. Just some hail and lighting that makes 8.30 look like 12 noon.

How near or far is Winchester, Tenn. from the areas hit by tornadoes? I have a friend who just moved there. She said it is a very small town, but I am unfamiliar with Tenn.

That is southwest from me, so I would say that she is pretty close, if not in the path of everything that we have been getting.

Ashland City was hit pretty hard. They had to evacuate their hospital because of a tornado and their roads are only open to emergency crews. Last I heard was around 5pm and there was very little electricity and very little cell service out there, I hope by now at least some of that is improving. My thoughts are with them all.
