Horrible people and some pixie dust

So you were annoyed on behalf of other people that some regulars were up front and knew the words?

"It's really annoying when AP holders take up all the front, getting in front of everyone, dancing around like they are on a dance floor when everyone else is jammed in like sardines and even standing in front of small kids. It annoys me because these people have seen it so many times that they know all the dance moves, all the words, the set lists and even mouth the words that Dum and Dee say."

What if they were former AP holders who couldn't afford passes anymore, but saved for months to pay for 1 day to go see the show. What are there "rights" and what's the "right" thing to do?

Are you the person that was in front of me??

Actually, yes I am annoyed on behalf of other people. I am annoyed on behalf of parents with little kids way in the back that couldn't see anything because others had to have the best spots for their 500th viewing, or however many it was. I'm annoyed that it wasn't "some regulars" that knew all the words but that the entire front of the stage, going back at least 3 people deep were people that clearly knew the show inside out and had no consideration for anyone else in the place. They even pushed the guy in the electric wheelchair (the guy had no movement at all) back behind them - and he was there waiting for a long time beforehand. We were jammed in like sardines and an old lady in front of me thought she was on a dance floor and was trying to do all of Alice's moves and jumps etc, never mind all the people she was knocking into and jumping on top of. But I guess she had a "right" to do that, and yes she does. I also have a right to say that they were mean and inconsiderate and rude and they are the kind of AP holders that paint all AP holders in a bad light.

So now I'm the person who physically abused your daughter? Well, at least she got a free treat out of it while the people that you posted on behalf of got nothing. I guess you're welcome.

Not accusing you just asking is all. You just seem to be so vehemently defensive of them and so protective of their "rights". And yes, you're right, we did get something out of it while everyone else got nothing - not even a view of the show. It's also funny that the CM that talked to us afterwards made a comment saying, "yeah, there's always not very nice people in there" when we told her what had happened and where. But it's all good, we are going home tomorrow but I'm pretty sure the same people will be back at Mad T next weekend to be horrible to some new people.

I think the saddest thing for me is that my kids got to learn a lesson yesterday, that there are humans in the world that are just purely mean for the sake of it, with no valid reason, just because they want to be and they seem to enjoy it. And it's horrible that they had to learn that at Disneyland.

This has been a fun game of semantics. I didn't accuse, I just asked. I know people have the right to be there, but let me disparage those people anyway. When I judged a group of people and bashed them because of something I observed and assumed it wasn't because I was complaining for myself, it was for the greater good. Please. You went to a concert and dance party and encountered some regulars who waited to get to the front of the stage. It's a raised stage with music. Everyone who was 3 people back or 7 people back or 10 people back could see and her the music. Someone who had probably been drinking, at the concert and dance party where alcohol,is served bumped your daughter in a crowd and you've decided everything that happened that you didn't like about the experience must have been malicious. Now you've bragged about your free treat and blamed everyone else for acting like they were at a concert so just let it go. There is no larger humanitarian issue here. There's just the group of people you insulted who are on this board offered travel tips and information to people who ask questions. You're the one who is saying nasty things about APs and questioning what they should do for you under the guise of "Well, the "right" thing to do for all the other aggrieved people who I care about more than myself is..." That's crap, your original complaint was about you. And you've insulted me, and I'm allowed to take it personally.

So tonight we were at Mad T Party. Some of the people there were just awful. It's really annoying when AP holders take up all the front, getting in front of everyone, dancing around like they are on a dance floor when everyone else is jammed in like sardines and even standing in front of small kids. It annoys me because these people have seen it so many times that they know all the dance moves, all the words, the set lists and even mouth the words that Dum and Dee say. These people know it back to front but still push and shove to get in front of everyone else to get to the front (FYI, I am not bagging all AP holders but I know there a quite a few like this). Ok, so they have as much right to see it as everyone else, I get that. To me it just seems really rude and, to be honest, I couldn't do things like stand in front of kids who clearly can't see, to see a show I've seen umpteen times. Anyway, that's my vent.

Well tonight we we're next to the women from hell. 2 in particular were just hideous. It was a mother and her teenager daughter (maybe 16 or so). They were pressed up against the front but for some reason had an issue with us who were behind them. Between sets while we were all waiting they kept turning around and giving us the dirtiest looks. At no stage did we do anything to them to make them mad, not even an accidental bump, nothing at all. Then we heard the girl talking to the mother and calling us *****es. At one stage the girl walked out and deliberately shoulder barged my daughter so hard that she cried. It was 100% on purpose. These people were horrible. After the second set we decided to leave - we don't need to put up with that at Disneyland.

As we walked out we walked by the information kiosk and a lovely CM called Kristin saw that my daughter had been crying and asked what was wrong. We just said that there were some not very nice people in T Party. She gave my daughter a big hug and a voucher for her to get herself a snack at one of the snack carts. Was so lovely and turned out night around. I am proud of my girls for not doing anything or saying anything to these horrible women and just trying their best to ignore and I am grateful to Kristin for being so sweet and caring.

P.S. If the woman in question is on here and reading this, just know that you are not a nice human and what's worse is that you are raising your daughter to be the same. Karma always comes back to you!!!

AWW!! See in Disneyland the good guys do win in the end!

I've met some rudies too but nothing that nasty. I met a girl who got so mad at me for kissing my girlfriend she acted like I was about to grab her because I'm a lesbian. I also met this guy who literally pushed a little kid out of his way the kid fell to the ground. This was back in the 90s. I was like traumatized by that as a kid that no one stopped this guy from being king of jerks. Some big fat guy with a goatee and bald spots looked like he used to be a football coach or something throwing this little boy over a curb so he could get to tomorrowland first? IDk! WDW doesn't have such crowd jammages as DL so Idk what his deal was!

Oh and there was the charming southern gentleman with the texas accent on the old (and more beautiful) Imagination Ride who made fun of my (a 5 year old girl) Tinkerbell costume which of course made me cry. (I made the costume with my mom :( )

Why do I get the feeling you have similar issues elsewhere? And lol about the AP comment---that did not go over well.
There are miserable people at Disneyland just like they are everywhere else in the world. Don't give them the power to dictate your experience. Move and find a happier spot to dance and sing.

Last time we went we had a huge problem with another guest. She was horrible to the CM and also to me. LOOOONG story short, she was asked to scoot over on RSR...we were both in the handicapped line. She was mobile out of her cart and so was I out of my wheelchair. (disc problem in my back, just can't stand or walk great distances in a big place like DL). Anyway, she didn't want to and was saying "But I have a really bad back, I can't slide over. Make her climb over me" Even tho she had already slid over one seat. The CM was saying "Ma'am, she also has a bad back and can't just climb over you."
After all that the other people in the car with her jumped over to sit back by her and I rode up front with their two kids. (Felt awful for this family too.) Then as we start on the ride she starts talking total crap about me. I was trying to ignore her as I was sitting by two little kids. Finally I said "Lady! It's over! It happened. ENJOY THE RIDE"

But with my crazy emotions I was choking back tears the whole time.

When we got off my husband was there with my wheelchair. We had ridden as single riders. I got off the ride and into the chair and the original CM was there and ran over and gave me a huge hug and I burst into tears. (Cue totally confused husband hahaha) She apologized profusely and started to cry too and spoke about her family member who was in a wheelchair. My brother is mentally handicapped so we talked for a bit about all of that, crying a ton the whole time. And then a manager came over and said "We are so sorry for that other guest." and handed me a free photo from the ride. Of course, that woman is in the pic but I can scratch her face out ;) They also put my husband and I back on the ride immediately. I'm still tearing up over it. It was an awful situation where I felt really small..but the CM's really saved the day for me. I super wish I remembered the CM's name. It was such a whirlwind of emotions I forgot to write it down.

Good for you! Did she shut up after that? I'm always amazed at how selfish and rude people are. I'm glad they let you ride again since she ruined it for you the first time.

Yep! She totally said nothing else the whole ride. Then she hurried her butt back to her scooter and was off before she saw what went down with the CM's and me. Methinks she doesn't get told to knock it off much. At one point she told the CM "Well I'm here almost EVERY DAY" and went into a whole thing about how they 'owe her' etc. It was just..wow. I still shake my head over it.

People are crazy! Hopefully she hurried off because she was embarrassed.
