Last night I dreamed that I was in a parking lot and my sister was in her husbands F250, her husband was standing outside next to the truck and my 2 DS, Seth4 and Ethan3 were there also. I was also there, but near my own van and kinda away from them. My sisters husband was so concerned that Seth stay away from the truck when my sister was backing up, but everyone forgot about Ethan. She backed up, rather quickly, and I heard the sickening thud and crushing of my baby being run over. :guilty: At the same time that I started running over there and screaming for DH to call 911, I woke up screaming. I got up and went to lay down with Ethan. I couldn't go to sleep, finally I prayed and was able to calm down. But still I can't get that image out of my head. :scared: What would cause me to dream something to horrible! :confused3

I know one thing, from now on when my sister is around with their monster vehicles, I'm keeping ALL my boys right by my side. :(

yikes!! I have had dreams like that before and woken up shaking....they feel so real that it's scary! Hoping you have a better night tonight :grouphug:

:grouphug: Just keep reminding yourself that it is not happening and look at your kids for confirmation of this. I hate dreams that are so real they skeeve you out for a week or more!

I had a horrible dream about my oldest dd. In the dream she was about 2 and someone had broken in and done terrible things to her and left her laying dead in one of our living room chairs. I woke up screaming and crying and I went and held her all night. That was 3 years ago and I can still remember every detail of that dream. It still bothers me.

It's so scary when you have a dream like that, it's just seems so real that it's hard to shake. Just keep reminding yourself that it was just a nightmare and go hug your kids. :grouphug:

I think your doing the right thing & taking this dream as a warning from your spirtguide/ angles. I would also tell your sister about the dream, your children could be a symbel for any child.

I alway worry about backing out. I keep the radio off when I'm backing out. Just incase someone trys to yell & warn me.

I am so sorry you had that dream. It's one of those things that comes along with the baby, worry. I have had dreams about terrible things happening to the boys and it shakes me for days. I have haunted their bedrooms at night just to hear them breathing. While it will not make the fear go away please know it's normal.

:grouphug:
Take a deep breath and remember it was only a dream (no, a nightmare.)

That's what I do when I dream that one of my kids drowns in the bathtub. This still happens quite often for me...and my kids are way past that stage... they even take showers.

Mommies never "turn off" their worries.
