See, ya just never know.
We have eaten at BD on three different trips and enjoyed it each time. Not our favorite restaurant. But good food, for us.

And I suspect you will read the same about any WDW restaurant, except for maybe a chosen few, like Flying Fish.
I admit I have not been brave enough to eat at 9 Dragons because of what I have read here. Plus I figure I can get good chinese here. Why waste a meal like that when there are so many good ones to choose from at WDW?
I can't think of any off hand that were HORRIBLE. But I know of a few we won't return to because of various reasons (bad service, overpriced, etc)
* CA Grille ($$$$$ and miniature portions. Service was below average. Food was good though -- what we had of it!

)
* Bistro (Chef's is just as good, IOHO, and costs half as much)
* Mama Melrose's (Only ate here once. What I had was good but way too pricey for what it was. DH liked his, but agreed not enough of a variety. And bad table service topped it off.)
* Many of the counter services/fast food burger area. Eat only when necessary.

Much better off getting a decent walk up meal at places in World Showcase -- like the Norway bakery or even the Fountainview Bakery in Epcot.
I ate at the Pasta/Potato area at the Land on Memorial Day last year and was so surprised at how good it was. We ordered the same meal at P/P this last trip and it was not good at all. (Bland, but elidible) So I will probably not repeat that one. 50/50 chance of food being good.
