I like the idea of leaving the MK for a break when it gets crowded aroung lunch time and going to a water park instead (we have UPH tickets for Aril 5-9). However, I'm worried that BB or TL will be filled to capacity and closed by the time we get there. When my DD and I return to our hotel (CONT) to change, is there a way I can find out if the two parks are closed before heading out again?
Is it likely they will be closed by mid-afternoon during this time of year?
Thanks!

I would call Guest Relations - 407-824-4321 when you get to your room to see if they can find the info out for you before trucking on over to one of those water parks.

April is a Peak time,so depending how hot the weather is at the time the waterparks could be crowded.

Try Guest Relations...they'll help you out when you're there!

Have a magical trip!

A word of caution, although I have not experienced this, many say that the water parks will actually shut off admission by 10 am or so due to capacity reasons so because you are traveling at a peak time this may happen. I don't know if later in the afternoon they open back up due to people leaving.

Hopefully other great DISrs will be by shortly to describe their experiences. So I am bumping you up.

I thought if you had UHP, you can always get into the water parks. Or maybe that just used to be the case. We never were denied admission, and that's how we always used to go.

Have gone many times during peak times and I have found the water parks close early and then open up again around 2-3.

You can find out right at your front desk as the buses will continue taking resort guests even if the parking lot is closed...not always but sometimes.

I believe the rule is still that disney resort guests are allowed in the parks even on the busiest days....trust me though, when the water parks are at capacity, you really don't want to be there IMHO....we like to hit the water parks around 3-4 pm as they will typically start to thin out due to other guest leaving for dinner plans, etc....when we were there this past april, we found that the water parks didn't thin out nearly as much with the earlier closing times as they do in june when the parks stay open later...
