Hopping from Epcot to MK via Monorail-

We would like to hop from Epcot to MK to view Spectro on Oct. 7th.
Would we take a monorail to the TTC, and then on to MK, or is there a direct monorail line to MK from Epcot?
Also, after viewing Spectro, would it be faster to take a ferry or monorail to TTC to catch the bus back to our resort, or just take the bus directly from MK back? We are on property.

There isn't a direct monorail between EPCOT and the MK. You have to change monorails at the TTC.

If you are staying on property,you would take a bus back to your resort from the MK. There aren't any buses to the resorts from the TTC (except for the WL/VWL & FtW and I'd recommend the WL/FtW boat from the MK (different from the ferry to the TTC) if you are staying at one of those).
