Hopper Pass Question

Me and my girlfriend are planning on hitting up Disney for 3 days on May 17th-19th. Our goal is to do the following

Magic Kingdom (1 Day)
Hollywood Studios (1 Day)
Animal Kingdom/EPCOT (1 Day)

We will definitely only be using a hopper pass that one day and not the other two, so my question is it cheaper to get a Hopper pass for 1 day then by a 2 day non-Hopper pass for the other 2? I know many will say don't do this, use the Hopper every day, but we don't want to make it stressful and just want to enjoy MK and HS for the whole day.

The Park Hopper option is the same price regardless of the number of days on the ticket.

You'd have to do the math. I'd be stunned if the two separate ticket idea you have is cheaper than the one 3-day ticket with hopper option.

I know there is a special case with 2 days, one hopping the other not. Cheshire Figment will know.

But not on a one day ticket. Its around $35 for a one day, $57 for a 2-10 day.

And since the price is SO close, I'd just get the hopper for all three days. You never know when you might need it -- maybe you'll have seen all you want to at one park, and want to go to another. Or a parade or fireworks may have been rained out, so you decide to go back on another day to see it. Or you want to eat somewhere other than the park you're in all of a sudden. Hopping isn't stressful -- it can be a lot of fun! It gives you more freedom than you'd have otherwise.
