Hoping the Rain Stays Away-We're Going Back in May-TR started

Woohoo! Okay, I confess. I have very little idea what you are talking about. I'm feeling the need to get more educated tonight. Care to explain for us dunce DISers? :confused3 How does DDP work? Is it part of your ticket package or a separate deal? What is the benefit?

Okay, mind you I only know this because I've read waaaay too many TRs..DDP is a separate deal you can add to your ticket that allows you so many CS meals and TS meals a day. There's also a quick service plan which allows only CS, and a regular one (I think...I could be wrong) that also offers CS & TS but not as many. The nice thing about DDP (Deluxe Dining Plan) is that some of the restaurants use more than one dining credit, and with DDP you have more of them so you don't feel guilty using them, lol. Basically it means all your meals are paid for in advance..and most people pay less than they would pay for the same meals out of pocket. I know DDP also includes appetizers and dessert.. hopefully someone else will come along and give you a better explanation.

Thanks for explaining it! I think you did great!

Good pictures of the sweet girls at Christmas and in the park. Brooklynn would have a blast running around the park with them. If our Disney trips ever overlap, we'll have to meet at a resort or park playground and let them play together for a few minutes.

Deluxe Dining Plan. That means we will get to see some incredible food pictures. :)

Last week in Florida, the girls were able to swim one day in the Pop kiddie pool. Most of the time it was a little too cool for that, but one day it was very warm. Here at home, we're at 14 degrees this morning and aren't supposed to get above freezing for the next eight days, at least.

Welcome back-think it's time to update your siggy! Thanks so much! I really do hope our trips will overlap someday! Yep, lots of food porn! Brrr, we are lucky it is unseasonably warm here

Congrats on adding the Deluxe Dining Plan!!! I so wanted it for December, but I couldn't convince Don that it was worth the extra $$$. :sad2: I can't wait to hear how you like it.

For the PP that asked, the Deluxe plan gives you three meals per day, they can be CS or TS, your choice. You also get 2 snacks per day in lieu of the 1 that you get with the regular dining plan, plus you get the refillable resort mugs - awesome deal!!!

Oh and Mary - I think I'm coming to AZ to be with you - 70's sound heavenly! We are having some ridiculously cold weather right now. It's not supposed to get above freezing all week, lows in the single digits and highs in the teens later in the week. We aren't used to it being that cold here, in fact my oldest doesn't even have a proper coat!

Thanks so much. I was surprised he did agree. Come on over!

Hey girl! Our friends here in KY finally committed and booked the Wildnerness Lodge tonight.:banana::banana: Oh yeah, I did a search and unfortunately you were correct the Disney Store at Opry Mills is closing. We're going to make a run down there this weekend. :sad1:

Oooh! DxDDP!

How exciting. I'd love to know what math you used to pull it off, I can never get it to pencil for us but would love the freedom to eat at all those lovely 2 TS places!!!

Awesome! Thanks for the explanation. I'd love it too if we didn't have free breakfast and dinner at GKTW. I'm only sad that you're going after us so I can't see all your pics before we leave.

Thank you. Yep was 72 degrees today....I am sorry about your winter-want to come visit? It is very cute and I really like it.

:yay::yay: Would love it to be warmer!! LOL :lmao: I think part of it is that we never really had a summer, barely over 90 and that was only for maybe two weeks worth of days. We are actually heading off to North Carolina here at the end of month or beginning of February.

Thanks for the offer! ;)

:goodvibes :goodvibes DxDP!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes How exciting!! What's on your list? popcorn::

I'm back from our trip and all read up on your PTR. :goodvibes The DxDDP! I'm looking forward to your plans, and of course....your food pics! ;)

The pictures of the girls on the scooters made me very, very jealous. We have warmed up to 13 degrees. I did miss the -5 Minnesota had last week though.

I know, it is a whole new set of yummy possibilities. I actually was pretty honest about what things cost but if there was a more pricey option I used that one:rolleyes1
