Hoping for some advice

Posted this last week, it got moved to theme park plans, and not one answer. So I hope to get some responses. Please do not move.

We arrive May 30th. Booked MK as first park. Staying at the Dolphin, so we have EEH at EP that night. Will we be able to hop since GOTG will be opening that wknd? Or should I just switch our park reservation to Ep to make sure there is no problem?

If you have hoppers you shouldn’t have an issue hopping. Even though it’s opening weekend I wouldn’t think they’d close it off for hopping but of course no one could be sure of that.

As popular as something like GOTG may be with locals as well as other guests, I'd switch to EP to be safe.

Epcot's pretty big, but capacity might be limited because of expected GOTG demand.

With the exception of a couple of hours in the late afternoon of Oct 1, 2021 for the Magic Kingdom, to date, park hopping has always been allowed to all parks, even when all parks were full for new park reservations.

Based on this I think you’re ok. Worst case scenario is you are temporarily prevented from hopping. Since only select resorts can do EEH, I can’t imagine how that could hit capacity and you’d be prevented from entering.
