Hoping DS23 doesn't ask

Lady leaves a message for DS23 yesterday about not wanting her ferret. (Son worked in a pet shop up until about a month ago, and met her when she bought one).

He's been looking up ferret rescues for her, and hope she follows through, because I really don't think we NEED another ferret in the house.

We have too many as it is. Thankfully, we have a large house and they have their own room. Boys are great about daily cleanings to help keep any odors down, so I can't complain about that, but we are up to 9 and need no more.

2 of those, we are only supposedly "fostering" as it is, but I have the feeling they will end up with us.

Plus, I had to go repair a screen and window the other day. One escaped and thank goodness we were outside grilling when he walked up.

I love them, 3 of the 9 are either mine or DS10's, but enough is enough.

Does anyone else have these cute little critter's in their homes?
Names? Approx. ages? Colors?

DS23's:
Toke, he's about 3-4 years old, he's a silver
Oden, he's about 3, he's a dark sable
Moia, she's about 2, she's a blaze (deaf)
Ona, she's about 2-3, she's also a blaze.

DS10's:
Orey, he's about 1 (and huge), he's a dark sable
Cloe, she's about 7-8 months, she's a beautiful blue sable

Mine:
Jura Vicious, she's about 7-8 months, silver (also deaf)

Foster kids:
I can't remember what they call them (some name's even worse then those already listed)
About 2-4 years in age, one is a cinnamon and the other a dark sable.

They LOVE to play... they are very affectionate with DS but with everyone else they are just ornery!

We have 3 who are very loving. One of the kit's- Cloe, and 2 older ones Orey and Oden.

Jura is a nipper, but it really doesn't hurt. Partly, because she's deaf & young, she gets surprised easily, and I think she's trying to learn her place in the family (both humans and ferrets).

One of cats lives in there with them (by choice) and it's so funny to see them play with the cat.

The ferret's will chase the outside cats.

They are playful by nature. Can be litter trained. But you must ferret proof where they will be living. Also, need to slowly introduce them to your other pets. We only allow them near the one indoor cat and the two outdoor cats.

One of my dog's would kill them in a heartbeat, so they are never allowed close to each other.
