Let me see if I have this straight, based on what I've read on various threads. Assuming all financial transactions have taken place properly....
Renting of points- the owner has to make the reservations for the renter, and could ultimately be held liable if the renter caused any damages during his/her stay.
Transferring of points- the owner sets up the transfer with MS and the transfer recipient, after which point the transfer recipient "owns" the points, leaving the owner free of any future liabilities that might be incurred by the the transfer recipient during his/her stay while using those points.
Am I correct in these assumptions?
Thanks!
